
AAEON's ENVIRONMENT POLICY
AAEON strives to incorporate sustainability into our core business operations. Specifically, we on-going review the following policies and practices:

AAEON promotes the use of mass transit and car-pooling among its team members. There are on-site amenities such as bicycle racks and lockers available for team members who bike or walk to the office. Employees must rent Hybrid or high MPG cars while traveling.
AAEON along with JCP&L (Local Electric company) to produce energy by solar power installed on our 20,000sf roof to power our facility and generate excess power into the power grid. By doing so we have reduced our over 100,000 CFC. Solar panel install and power consumption guide presented when requested. Through a lighting efficiency project AAEON saved 4.5 million kila watts a year which translates to more than $310,000 in savings.
Electronic Invoicing and Procurement – AAEON used electronic customer invoicing, and to date we have replaced 11,000 paper invoices and statements with electronic versions. Online purchasing tool for customers offers electronic IT fulfillment, EFT, online quotes, and online reporting capabilities. And we encourage businesses to choose software licensing to help eliminate unnecessary software boxes.
AAEON has not been subject to any fine or penalty in results of laws pertaining environmental policy issues.
