Introduction:

This project is to utilize the city bus as a provider for Advertising Services, Digital Alarming System, GPR Positioning and Intellectual Report System, it is a comprehensive application on the digitalization of a modern city. The bus itself is a characteristic advertisement, and each bus has its independent system to be able to receive the signals transmitted by TV Stations, the TV screen inside the bus is informative in terms of delivering the advertising messages.

System Requirement:

1. The entire system is power-supplied by in-car battery, the power consumption is highly demanding while starting the engine, it can go up to 90V.  It is required that the CPU board has to be low power consumption.
2. Due to the conditional endurance of bus to the environment; vibration, temperature, humidity and dust may cause the instability of the system, hence it is required that the CPU board has to be highly stable.
3. The Commercials shown on the screen has to be refined in image, hence the CPU board is requested to be able to go for higher resolution output.
4. The system applies WINCE.NET operation system.  To avoid the maintenance problem, the board is requested to use Compact Flash Card as a Storage Device, this can prevent Hard-Disc from being ruined in a turbulent environment.
