AAEON newest PC/104 CPU Module is the PFM-620S which has the highest processor performance level among AAEON's current PC/104 CPU Modules. It supports onboard Intel Ultra Low Voltage Celeron 400/650MHz processors and delivers excellent performance with low power consumption. It is robustly designed for fanless operation and low power consumption and is suitable for single voltage (5V only) input requirement applications.
The PFM-620S is AAEON first PC/104+ CPU module allowing the use of traditional PC/104-bus devices plus the newer & faster PCI-104 and PC/104+ add-on devices. This high-speed module is available with either the Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) Celeron 400MHz or ULV Celeron 650MHz processor, working in conjunction with the VIA VT8606 and VT82C686B chipsets.
The graphics chip section allow resolutions of up to 1280 x 1024 pixels for CRT operation and 1024 x 768 pixels for LCD output. The TTL LCD interface has a 18 to 36-bit width for TFT or DSTN panels
Other features include a 10/100Mbps LAN port, 2 COM ports (one can be switched between RS-232/422/485), 2 USB 1.1 ports, and a single UDMA33 IDE channel. The maximum system memory size is 512MB and is furnished through a 144-pin SODIMM memory socket. A CompactFlash memory socket for storage is also provided.
An optional daughter board allows audio operation with MIC-in, Line-in and Line-out. For embedded applications that require system status, the PFM-620S is equipped to monitor onboard temperature and power supply voltage levels. Since this board needs only +5 volt operation, power supply requirements are minimized.
